Background

Copycat Curse is a twin-stick bullet hell game with a slight twist: the enemies copy your moves and abilities! I teamed up with 2 friends to make this game for the GMTK Game Jam 2021.

Responsibilities

• Brainstormed and designed the core gameplay.

• Designed and developed a portion of the core player mechanics.

• Programmed and implemented the enemy and boss AI behaviors & attack patterns.

• Wrote a simple shader-based lighting system for the game.
